Pregnancy Care

About the Service

Pregnancy care is a comprehensive set of medical services aimed at protecting the health of the expectant mother and supporting the development of the baby. Regular medical supervision helps detect potential complications in a timely manner and prevent risks during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.

Stages of Pregnancy Care

  1. Initial Examination and Consultation
At the beginning of pregnancy, the doctor takes a medical history, performs a general examination, assesses the woman’s physical condition and lifestyle, and identifies potential risk factors. An ultrasound examination is performed for the first time to confirm the pregnancy.
  2. Screening Tests
During the first trimester (11–13 weeks), screening is performed, including an ultrasound examination to assess the baby’s anatomy and a biochemical blood test to determine the risk of genetic abnormalities. The second major screening, performed at 18–21 weeks, is aimed at detecting possible fetal abnormalities.
  3. Regular Scheduled Visits
The pregnant woman has regular check-ups to monitor her overall condition, blood pressure, weight, and the condition of the placenta and fetus using ultrasound. Blood and urine tests are monitored, and screening for gestational diabetes is performed.
  4. Preparation for Childbirth
Toward the end of pregnancy, consultations focus on childbirth, assessment of the body’s readiness, planning possible scenarios, and safety measures for both mother and baby.
