Immunological and Rheumatological Testing

This group of tests is aimed at assessing the state of the immune system and detecting inflammatory, autoimmune, and rheumatological processes. These tests help identify the causes of chronic fatigue, frequent infections, allergic reactions, joint pain, or infertility.

Test results allow doctors to diagnose complex conditions in a timely manner, monitor the course of treatment, and choose the appropriate treatment strategy.

This Group Includes:

  • Autoimmune testing (ANA (antinuclear antibodies), anti-TPO antibodies, anticardiolipin antibodies, anti-DNA antibodies)
  • Rheumatoid markers (rheumatoid factor (RF), anti-CCP, CRP (C-reactive protein), HLA-B27)
  • Immune system assessment (immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG, IgM, IgE), lymphocyte subpopulations (CD3, CD4, CD8), complement C3, C4)
  • Infertility-related testing (antisperm antibodies, NK cells, antibodies to human chorionic gonadotropin)

In most cases, venous blood is used. The procedure takes a few minutes and is performed by experienced nurses.

When should I have rheumatological markers tested?

In case of chronic joint pain, morning stiffness, swelling, or rashes, as well as if there is a family history of rheumatoid arthritis or other autoimmune diseases.
